Tellef Thorleifsson - Chairman of the Board 

Tellef joined Northzone as a co-founder in 1996, and he has been instrumental in the fund raising and building of Northzone Ventures to a leading Nordic venture capital firm.
Tellef co-ordinates the activities in Northzone's offices, as well as being active with Northzone's new investments and portfolio companies. Tellef was instrumental in the foundation of the Norwegian Venture Capital Association and acted as its first Chairman.
Tellef serves as Chairman of the board of Mamut ASA and Revolt Technology. Tellef is also a Director at the University of Oslo's Technology Transfer Office (Birkeland Innovasjon AS), member of EVCA's Investor Relations committee and a board member of the Norwegian Venture Capital Association.
 


Alessio Beverina 

Alessio Beverina is Principal in charge of investments in the energy related sectors, focusing in the semiconductor, components, materials and systems for storage, creation, metering... Alessio started as an analyst with Sofinnova Partners in April 2005. He began his career in 1997 as a researcher at LETI, one of the most important European Labs in the research field applied to electronics. From 2000 to 2003, he worked in the central R&D group for STMicroelectronics, in charge of advanced CMOS technologies. Alessio holds 5 patents and has published several publications. Alessio graduated from Politecnico di Milano, in chemical engineering, with specialisation in chemistry and physics of solid materials, and with an MBA from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP-EAP). Alessio is on the board of Revolt Technology (Switzerland) and Neosens (France).
 


Hans G. Schreck  

Hans G. Schreck is a General Partner at TVM Capital since 1999.
Prior to joining TVM Capital, Mr. Schreck was a founding member and Vice President of Mustang Ventures, the corporate venture resource of Siemens' Information and Communication Networks group.
Mr. Schreck currently represents TVM Capital on the boards of Axxom Software AG, Bitwave Semiconductor Inc., Cambridge Broadband Ltd., Enigma Semiconductor Inc., Hymite A/S, Revolt Technology A/S, Streaming21 Inc. and Ubidyne Inc. Earlier investments include TravelTainment AG (acquired by Amadeus), Comstock Systems Inc. (acquired by Hitachi) and Neolinear Inc. (acquired by Cadence).
He holds a M.Sc. degree from the Cranfield Institute of Technology (UK) and a Dipl.Ing. degree from Fachhochschule, Darmstadt (Germany).
 


Erik Hagen 

Erik Hagen is Managing Partner of Viking Venture, one of Norway's leading venture funds. Viking Venture focuses on investments within ICT and Energy in Norway and the Nordic countries and manages funds of 100 mUSD. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
Erik's background includes McKinsey & Co. (project manager), NetCom GSM (VP Marketing - Distribution), Scandinavia Online (CEO), Arthur Andersen & Co. (Partner).
He is serving as board member in a number of Viking Venture's portfolio companies as well as in the Norwegian Venture Capital Association and listed Adresseavisen ASA.
Erick Hagen holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science from NTH (Trondheim), MBA from INSEAD (France).
 


Dr. Hugues Delmaire 

Dr. Hugues Delmaire holds a Ph.D. in operations research from the University of Montreal and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He has over 15 years of managing/professional experience in the energy, finance and new technologies areas. He has been CEO of a multimedia company in Canada, managed the Energy department of a technology consulting company in Spain, as well as working in the financial industry in Bermuda and holding various teaching positions in finance and mathematics in Canada. Dr. Delmaire currently holds the position of Principal Ventures at RWE Innogy, he joined RWE in 2006 and the Corporate Venture unit soon after its creation and represents RWE Innogy on the Board of Quiet Revolution in the UK.


Dr. Aage Stori 

Dr. Stori received his PhD in polymer chemistry at the University of Oslo in 1980. Following a period as a research scientist at SINTEF, Oslo, working with high temperature polymers and surface modification of polymers, he worked as research manager at the laboratory of Dyno industries. In 1988, Dr. Stori returned to SINTEF and has been working with the research institute ever since, initially as chief scientist and later as Vice President for Research at SINTEF Materials and Chemistry. Dr. Stori has a part-time professorship at the Technical University of Norway (NTNU) and sits on the Board of Directors at a number of SINTEF spin-off companies.
